Beginning in the fall of 2023 and continuing until the spring of 2024, I have been on a photographic journey. From New York to Washington, D.C., I have been covering protests against the occupation of the Gaza Strip.

These protests are a powerful symbol of resilience, diversity, and the ongoing pursuit of justice. The images I've presented here show a movement that crosses cultural and religious boundaries. From the innocent eyes of children, who represent the movement's future, to the elderly, who carry past struggles, each photograph tells a unique story of perseverance and unity.

These photographs capture the raw emotions and harsh reality of people mourning the loss of loved ones. Protesters from various backgrounds join in solidarity with the people of Gaza, calling for a free Palestine. Each photograph tells a story of determination, hope, and the enormous power of humanity coming together in the face of genocide. These photographs are more than just a testament of the protests; they reflect the human condition in all of its pain, beauty, and potential for change.

This journey has been more than just a professional one for me, it has also been deeply personal. I did not just want to document these protests, l wanted to be a part of the change for Palestinian freedom. My role as a photographer and a Palestinian has given me a unique perspective on these events; not as an observer but as a member of the community fighting for their rights. This project represents a piece of my heart, a call to action, and a vision of a future in which peace and justice prevail for all Palestinians.
